Will always be a part of my childhood
When it was always an honor
To play in a colorful and fun world on my PlayStation One
This crazy-spinning
Double-jumping
Super-sliding
Wumpa-eating
Crate-breaking
Body-slamming
Bazooka-shootin Bandicoot
Continues to be nothing but pure awesomeness
Whether it was bashing against foes
Completing levels in Warped
Or racing
These games have never failed to entertain me
Again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And most recently
Again
I remember when my sister would play Crash Bash with me
We would usually team up as Crash and Coco
And crush the competition in the Pogo Stick arenas
For hours and hours I would play on weekends
And I didn't care what anyone else thought
I loved Crash Bandicoot so much
That I used to mimic his running style and spin attack whenever I could
I flash back to the past often
But that furry critter always gives me a huge delicious slice of nostalgia
Even if many of the ideas for Crash's games have been overshadowed
Inspired
And admittedly taken directly by those of Mario
I will always be a bigger Crash Bandicoot fan
