There’s something that I want you all to see.
Half an hour ago the sky was bright
And it was a lovely, sunny day.
Clouds have now completely covered all the blue,
And turned it to a funny shade of grey.

Those snowflakes, like children,

I’ll wait a little while before I find my outdoor gear,

Maybe even have a snowball fight!
I’ll go out before them and begin.
I’ll stay nice and warm if I run round!
Trace some footsteps carefully, to make a pattern,
Maybe spell my name out on the ground!

Verse 3 It’s a little heavier, I think.
Snow is so exceptionally cool.
If it goes on longer we might get snowed in
And I could miss the first two weeks of school!
Still, I’ll just enjoy it while I can,

Better go outside and make the most of it,
Before that lovely snow has gone away!
