I’m a Panda song lyrics by Emily Iannielli official

I’m a Panda is a song in English

I’m a Panda
I’m a beautiful bear that is unique and very popular.

I come from far away.

I make my home in the bamboo forests and certain mountainous areas in China.

I am black and white with patches.

My face and body are mostly white with black patches around my eyes, my ears and my body.

I love my homeland of China where I am treated with dignity, respect and reverence.

I have a diet that consists mostly of bamboo leaves, stems and shoots.

I go crazy over bamboo and have developed a liking to it.

Pandas generally only inhabit small scattered regions in the China vast lands and are entirely dependent on bamboo as their food source so they must live in regions abundant with bamboo so they seek the bamboo forest for their habitat.

Pandas are not social animals as you would think. They actually only get together to mate and once they have babies the male goes on his own leaving the female to raise her young.

They essentially live solitary lives during their lifetime.

Their life expectancy is typically 20 years but can live longer in captivity where loving care is provided.

Pandas have a difficult time adapting to new environments and due to global warming and the destruction of bamboo forests they are listed as an endangered species.

Pandas rely on their sense of smell to survive and prosper and as a means of avoiding other pandas when they’re not mating and prefer their solitude in the wild.

The World Wildlife Fund has adopted the symbol of the Panda in its campaign to save endangered species of animals including the panda and to protect the lands from which they roam.

China has enacted laws to protect the panda and has developed reserves for them to live their lives abundant with bamboo so they can have suitable living conditions and continue to mate.

The Chinese government used to have policies where they would gift pandas to foreign countries for the international zoos of the world to showcase the panda, the symbol of China but due to their status as an endangered species now China leases the panda to the zoos of the world for a certain time, 10 years or less and with the agreement that babies born in captivity are the property of China and must be given up.

Baby pandas at birth only weigh about 5 ounces and are extremely tiny and must be handled with tremendous care.

While they weigh less than a pound the mother panda weighs 200 lbs and the father panda weighs 300 lbs so you can see how very tiny baby pandas are when first born.

The mother will take care of her young for around 2 years before the baby cubs mature and make it into the world on their own.

The pandas are popular at the world zoos and garner tremendous attention because of their history, culture and their unique characteristics and beauty.

Visitors to the zoos come from all over the world to get a glimpse of the panda and many visit China where their homeland is to see these amazing and wonderful animals.

Pandas are treated well in all the zoos of the world and provided comfortable living arrangements, a healthy diet of bamboo, toys to play with, partners to mate with and medical care.

There are many wonderful places to travel to see the panda in China and throughout the world.

There are movies that showcase these wonderful animals.

One such movie is an animal nature film titled “Born in China” that features some animals of China and how they live in the wilds of this amazing country including the panda, the monkey, the crane taking to the sky and the snow leopard that roam the beautiful lands and wild.

An animated film that is popular with children is “Kung Fu Panda” that features the star, a panda bear, Po Ping who is bestowed the honor of the Dragon Warrior and his relationship with his father and his friends and the discipline of Kung Fu. It is a highly entertaining series of movies that children and their parents flock to.

There is tremendous pride in China for their beloved panda that is an endearing symbol to this country and its people.

I’m very popular and people come from all over the world to see me at the zoo as I play and eat bamboo.

I’m a panda.
