I’m a Cheetah is a song in English
I’m a Cheetah
I’m fast like the wind.
I roam the wilds of Africa.
I’m one of the biggest cats you’ll ever see.
I’m different from a tiger as I have spots rather than stripes.
I’m also different from a leopard though we both have spots but our fur is different in color.
Cheetahs have tan color fur while leopards have yellow.
There are many big cats and they’re all different though they can be mistaken for one another.
Some of the biggest cats that roam the wilds are the
Cheetah
Leopard
Panther
Jaguar
Puma
Tiger
Lion
Cheetahs are able to hunt for their food because of their speed.
A mother cheetah will always be out with her cubs and they stay in a group together until the babies are mature enough to go on their own and assemble into new groups.
Cheetahs are very social animals and family oriented and the mother is always very protective of her young.
Once the cubs leave the mother she will usually live alone.
Cheetahs are strikingly beautiful animals and photographers seek to capture them in pictures and film to showcase their family life and to isolate them as they run in the wild.
Cheetahs will sleep in shaded areas if they can locate trees or in caves or dens in the wild or on grassy land.
Cheetahs seek water wherever they can locate streams, rivers and other waterways.
Cheetahs generally live in very warm climates so they must find time to cool off and water is highly sought as is the shady tree.
Cheetahs can live in zoos but their natural habitat is the wild plains of Africa where they’re free to roam and live their lives in the great wilderness.
I love to run as fast as I can in the open and if you’re lucky enough to capture me in print I say bravo because I’m a cheetah.
