To me, a conversation is an opportunity to connect.

A conversation to me is, when you get your shit out of your head and to other people, or to yourself – because sometimes you can have a conversation with yourself. But, yeah, it’s just when you just pull the shit that’s in your head and just chuck it out. And sometimes it’s like when you pull yourself out of being in your own head.

Personally, I love the circumstance of conversation. I think they really express how sometimes we just need to, to turn off the brain and just talk about nonsense.

I think, just personally, I struggle with like… Kind of coming to terms with like understanding how I feel. And so then trying to like, I don’t know, expand on that to someone is always difficult. And then I’m like, yeah well, I don’t really like thinking about this so I don’t want to talk like about it to someone. Like, I’m happy to just like, talk about the music and stuff that I’m like, yeah it’s pretty surface level stuff that I love and like really enjoy.

A conversation to me is a two-way relationship. And honestly, if you’re not gonna listen to me, then I don’t wanna listen to you.

A conversation is in general like, is such a beautiful thing. To connect with someone through words and understanding. Because I mean like, you have your thoughts, I have my thoughts - you’ve got to converse with me for me to know what’s going on in your head.

(What is a conversation to you?)

I really value the connection that I have with those around me a lot. But I also really value the people I have around me more through the conversations that I have with myself. You know, I conversate with myself when I think of something and it makes me want to share that with someone. I feel like I conversate with myself when I see something really funny or really enjoyable and it makes me want to laugh. You know, I experience that in myself and that also makes me want to share it with other people.

I really think it boils down to vulnerability. To shared vulnerability. That’s a conversation to me.
