It’s easy to pray on a dismal day when the big bad world doesn’t go your way
(Or when the) sun shines bright up above and your heart is whelmed by joy and love,
(Or when) someone’s hurt or you’re deep in debt, or you life’s screwed up but not over yet,
(And when) you feel great - all blissed and blessed - on top of the world, and life’s at it’s best.

But what about those other days?
The so-so times, the old routine
Punch the clock, do your job,
Eat and sleep and cook and clean
It’s just another day,
But don’t forget to pray!

There’s nothin’ to fear, ‘cause He makes it clear that He’s here for you while you’re livin’ here,
He made all the trees and the birds and the bees and air we breathe and the summer breeze.
But the mundane world tends to drift along in between the times when there’s right and wrong
And we might forget for a little while that He never sleeps and you are His child


Don’t forget... He’s watchin’ over you.
Don’t forget... He’s right there loving you!
Don’t forget... That every second He
Won’t forget... He’s listenin’ carefully.
So don’t forget to pray...

So remind your self in some small way.
