As my soul looks out
On the evening sky
And i see the brilliance
Of the winter's moon

How it lights the snow
Drifting up so high
As it shown that night upon
the desert dune

And the winds that blew
Across the ancient place
Carried angels voices
To the hearts of all

Now that gentle breeze
Brushes across my face
Because of my joy of that
Last night song

A young mother
And a child
Slumbering
Under the evening Christmas moon

Now the stars one by one
Take their places high
Like the royal jewels of the crown
Twas a start that lead
On the evening sky
To proclaim that all
The Son of God is born
