Get rid of things your ex-partner/person left. You may keep gifts, so long as they still serve you.
Make a mixtape for yourself. Sad songs. Ratchet Songs.
Cry without judging your sadness.
Scream without becoming victim to your anger.
Look in the mirror. Tell the person you see they are not defined by someone else’s departure.
Invite your friends over. Share space with those who choose you.
Write. Letters (not to send, but to document), journal entries, poems, songs.
Laugh. This is the most rebellious thing you can do.
