Paroles de la chanson I’m a Ferret par Emily Iannielli lyrics officiel

I’m a Ferret est une chanson en Anglais

I’m a Ferret
I’m a very cute little animal with a long outstretched body and a tail.

Baby ferrets are kits and are extremely tiny little cuties that are completely dependent on their mother as they are born blind, deaf and without hair. They weigh less than an ounce and are no more than an inch or two in size.

By 6 weeks old baby kits are weaned off their mother and at 10 weeks they start developing growth of their adult teeth after their baby teeth fall out as they can start eating soft foods.

Ferrets come in all different colors; white, tan, black, brown with eyes that are very small in size.

Ferrets in the wild eat small rodents, birds, fish, frogs, small snakes, turtles and insects.

At maturity ferrets can weigh up to 6 pounds though that is on the heavier side and can grow to between 9 and 15 inches.

Wild ferrets habitat near water sources and in grasslands, prairie lands, dens and underground burrows.

Ferrets are very fast in burrowing underground and building tunnels to stay cool when the summer sun gets too hot.

Ferrets are very curious and playful and love to burrow.

It comes natural to them.

If you could carry on a conversation with a ferret it would say with enthusiasm

I’m a “little engineer” digging into the ground stretching my body as I go deeper under the surface.

I’m not going to dig myself to China but I will be able to find my own space to stay.

It provides me a sense of safety and security especially when I’m fleeing a potential predator or just trying to escape the heat.

It helps me to find a place to hide or to get some sleep and I benefit from the exercise of digging feverishly underground.

It also helps me to think and use my mind as I’m stimulated physically, emotionally and mentally.

I’m just playing and I am happy at play.

Ferrets are amazing little creatures that are very sociable and fun to watch as they dig and play with their toys.

They are domesticated and can serve as pets but require a lot of care and attention for their needs and their safety.

I’m a mischievous little animal and sometimes I’m referred to as a “little thief”.

I like to hide things and can carry three times my body weight so do not leave your car keys in my vicinity otherwise you will be looking for them and not be able to find them.

Also if you decide to provide me a home to stay as a family pet you need to acquire a big enough cage and plenty of toys for me to play with and make sure I can’t escape or allow me out to explore a room where I can play and have a good time while having a safe space for all my needs.

Never leave me alone where I can get into trouble or burrow into an unsafe place.

I also need tubes big enough to fit my body where I can freely crawl without obstruction as I just love to burrow.

I don’t like to be locked up in a small cage as I need to explore my surroundings and I need plenty of stimulation so if you’re going to house me in a cage it needs to suit me adequately so I don’t get bored or depressed.

I also love attention and to be held gently and to run around.

If I’m allowed a room to roam around in it has to be safe for me and I need to have play time, plenty of food and water, a litter box and a place where I can play with my toys and burrow and get rest with supervision at all times to assure my safety.

Ferrets in the wild have a life expectancy of 1 to 3 years while ferrets well cared for as domesticated pets can live 5 to 8 years and upwards of 10 years.

Ferrets are social animals and need companionship so they don’t get sad or depressed.

As an owner of a ferret you also must be careful if your ferret gets outdoors because if they runoff you may not find them and they may not find their way back.

When you take your ferret to the veterinarian you should make sure they are chipped like kittens as a protection and if they do go missing you have a better chance of reuniting with them then if they weren’t chipped at all.

Ferrets are agreeable animals and can get along with cats and dogs similar in size though before introducing them to other species of animals they need to have their own living spaces and you should first consult with a veterinarian to make sure if it’s a good idea and fit.

Domesticated ferrets eat commercial dry foods that must be meat based in addition to meat that serves their nutritional needs so they can live healthy lives.

They must also have plenty of water.

The oldest ferret on record lived to 14 years.

The oldest cat to have lived on record was Creme Puff who attained age 38 years chronologically. She lived from August 3, 1967 to August 6, 2005 in Austin, Texas and her owner was Jake Perry.

Jake Perry, the owner, age 85, still living recently beating cancer, has raised other cats to ages in their 30s in addition to Creme Puff, the record holder for oldest living cat and he has a cat currently at age 19.

There is only one species of domesticated ferret or common ferret but there are over 20 different types of ferrets and 7 subspecies.

Ferrets are related to the weasel but not of the same species. They are two different animals.

A main concern in seeking a pet ferret is making sure they are legal to be pets.

Since they are becoming popular as pets that doesn’t mean that pet ownership is legal.

You must do your homework and consult professionals in addition to a veterinarian who will be able to advise you.

If it’s not possible to own a ferret as a pet you can visit them at zoos that provide a natural habitat for them and you can witness them close up as they do their thing.

Just remember this, ferrets like any domesticated pet needs a lot of love, care and attention.

Ferrets love TLC just like any other pet.

Tender Loving Care.

How do I know?
