Letting myself love has to be one of the scariest things I've ever done
It's really like staring off into the sun

It's painful but is also as beautiful as that same sun shining through a prism
Those colors shape the world as we know it

The world can seem a bit less vivid
The green of the grass and beauty in your eyes I once noticed turns into this grey in the sky that seems so frigid
So maybe I'll take the pain
and know that it was not in vain
