The blue dog dances, bowing to the hall
Swallowing sharp swords, howling to the guitar
Grinning like a human, for everyone's delight
Wagging its tail loyally, reveling in the limelight

The blue dog dances, nose dripping with blood
And an arrow pierced through its deaf ear, with a thud
Let the canine tears fall upon its fur
The naive dog believes in the ball under the cup, as it were
