It's summer vacation and we've got time off from school
We're ready to go on a trip or hang out by the pool
It's hot outside, hot, hot, but we kids don't really mind

Some parents like to stay at home and just relax
Tanning by the pool, sipping cold drinks and eating snacks
But as for us kids, we'd rather have a water fight
With water guns or some balloons, it's lots more fun, alright
