Crickets chirping all around
I enjoy the peaceful sound
The shallow and calming waves
Slowly move along the path of the lake

Its serene and level-headed nature
Soothes my soul and forgives all my failures
I am grateful to visit anytime I like
I may have this strong connection to it
As if I also lived there in a past life
