Staring at the clock tick round
Its hands taunting me forever
My patience and mind is wearing thin from the moments of nothing that pass by
When will the results come back
When will I find out the truth
What is taking so long
It feels like I am stuck in purgatory
Endlessly waiting for a decision to cast my fate
Will I continue drifting through time to find an answer
Or will it come to me sooner than expected
I truly will never know when I will know
It's all so frustrating and discouraging
But I know, or hope
That in time I will be rewarded with a new path in my life
So I can stop trudging down this
Dull
Lifeless
And empty one
Where I can join others and finally relate to the complete life they have
Finally fill a void that's existed for way too long
Imagining a happy life for myself is the only thing that keeps me sane
In this prison of nothingness
So I continue to wait
Unless I can think of a new way
To escape from this torture
