I feel the cool wind travel over my face as I pace myself over the ground my legs gracefully stride on
As I run feeling fine, the sun shines warmly upon my skin
Within it, the fire inside burns righteously as I use it to power and steer myself along the path
No one has the power to trap me in a confined space
Cause here, I feel the open air in my lungs
I get to clear my mind of all the stress and anxiety I've experienced recently and escape from it all
It would be pretty tragic for me if I decided to quit running
So I promised myself I'd keep in shape, especially if someone ever challenged me to a race
I admit I'm not exactly in what you'd call my prime
But I'll keep my pace steady, and my breath not heavy to further advance my healthy lifestyle
It's about time I get back on track to keep challenging myself
And no matter how sore, cramped or tired I get, it'll workout in the end
