You feel an urge or craving to block out the world
So you lurch into a little haven with me where you're safe to contemplate anything
Where you can behave as socially unacceptable as you want to
Where you can drain out all of your stresses and doubts
Where you can refrain from your phone for a while
Some would dislike or fear of this anti-social practice so much, that they would prefer to be in a rave
That's fine for them, but you choose for now to avoid the tidal wave of people and be able to breathe your own air
You're now in your own zone and you forbid anyone to invade this space
Simply block it all out
They can learn to embrace some time without your presence
A social butterfly should be allowed to rest their wings, at least every once in a while
This is your quiet time for your mind to be free of expressing any thoughts
As you follow the guidance of the room's silence
To choose to be conscious of your own self
To feel at peace and maintain a bond between me, myself and I beside our thoughts
So feel free to let anything loose with me, let your mind unwind
I want you to know that it's okay to be alone sometimes
