The world keeps changing but I will stay the same

In my youth I used to want to time travel
See the hidden truths of stories written in the Bible
Fix every mistake I think I've ever made
Make sure my life is all good from birth til grave
Deep down everyone wants to be remembered

Good guys bad guys and the scum of the earth
But to be remember you must be leave or die first
Some people write their names in ink stone or marker
