I am proud as hell of that, and I love you guys for that
I came from nothing, and I had my struggles with drinking and i have been to prison
Drinkin beer, muddin and wreckin all your shit with your buddies is fun as hell
cnd you get a bunch of hillbillies in the same room they could fix any fuckin thing
But there is more to us white boys than moonshine, gettin drunk and pickup trucks.
I could have did the safe thing and made another country rap album and said the same shit over and over
But my life is bigger than that
cnd yalls lives are bigger than that and more complicated than that.
There is more to us than that fuckin shit
So don't be mad because I am challenging this genre to grow
I grew up listening to classic rock, country rap, and hip hop
I am going to make the people in hip hop hear us and respect what we're doing.
