On a warm Spring's day I spent inside,
Pale white,
Down in the dungeon, writing up rhymes.
In between beers, through the window
I see zombies outside,
Here to eat my mind,
Hope they don't mind its fried.
Do I attempt an escape,
Or hope they pass on their own?
Then I hear the window break,
They're now entering my home.

Need a plan of attack
Quickly learning a lesson,
That I'd better start running fast,
Because I'm without a weapon.

Frightened by the terror I'm faced with
I picture myself in the basement,
Doomed to be my tomb made of pavement,
If I don't escape it soon.

Flew up the staircase
Now adjacent to their current location,
Why'm I waiting?
Grab a hammer and start smashing some faces!!
Now they've broken every vase I have,
Each skull i cave in, two more replace it,
And space to slay these things is cut in half.

No time to waste, me vs a million of these things,
Or crash though this pane of glass
And see what terror nature brings.
I should've thrown something hard first,
It's not like the movie it hurts.
Rather have glass shards scar up my back,
Than have zombies eat my ass.

Groaning and grunting
The undead munching my friend, Duncan,
Notice something.
Me mumbling.

I start running to avoid an unwanted exit,
Not expecting to see my neighbors
As victims of vicious vivisections!

It was too much, I nearly fainted.
Tripped on a stick, twisted my ankle and sprained it.
Managed to scramble across a parking lot.
The vision this grisly scene has painted,
Just needs a sample by Sir Mix-a-Lot!
Now's a great time to play it..

Put 'em down in the ground, but they came right back.
Zombie Attack!

No need to be afraid!
As long as I'm alive I'll keep killing these things
That don't want to stay in their graves!
