Touring this record felt like an embodiment of what this album feels like to me: exciting and raw and sometimes terrifying, underscored by playfulness and a desire for connection. There’s beauty in all of it: the marathon drives through the night, the bleary-eyed mornings, the inside jokes and new nicknames, the thrill and the rush of playing to rooms full of fresh ears, the sheer distance and exhaustion… we tasted it all. The bitter, the sweet, the joy, the frustrations. It’s a wild ride I choose, with pleasure. breathing through the lows and revelling in the highs.
