Before me was a door standing open in heaven and a voice like a trumpet said
"Come up here, and I will show you what must take place"
From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder
Seven lamps were blazing before the throne - the seven spirits of God

Four living creatures were placed around the throne, the first like a lion, the second like an ox
The third like a man, the fourth like an eagle. Each had six wings and was covered with eyes
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor and power
For you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being"

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to show what must soon take place
He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw
That is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy
Blessed are those who hear this prophecy and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near
Day and night they never stop saying, "Holy is the Lord God Almighty
