Where I come from
Tea is a very old and beloved tradition
Though I haven't kept every tradition
I certainly have honored tea

My family thought me
That a necessary part of tea is
Of course, cups and saucers

(Cups and saucers) go together
(Cups and) different though they are

And together (Cups)
They're much better (And saucers)
Than they'd be apart

One holds tea and one holds drips
And only one goes to your lips
But you need both you see

What comes first to mind?

You don't see chopsticks or a spoon
When you first walk into the room
It's teacups that you see
At every perfect tea

Standing gracefully aside

What, a teapot has it's pride
(Ready to serve at your beck and call)
All the great and all the small

Drunk and milled by a lanterns light
But never cold tea much be hot
It must, tea must be hot (Cups and saucers)
Made from china (Cups and)
Serve a finer tea (Saucers)

After meals are (Cups)
Pork and rice they (And saucers)
Add civility
