Schools being shot up continuously
The one place you want to get education
Isn't safe and
Almost Everyone with a mental problem has a gun
And if you're at the wrong place at the wrong time
You will get shot
I heard one person say
The world has gone mad
She doesn't know it's heading
To bigger problems
To bigger apple watches and iPhones
And that the world went mad
Since they crucified Jesus
You know the story
He rose on the third day
For all our sins he knew we would commit today
Right now
I'm speaking my feelings
Yesterday I was in the dumps
I felt really low depressed
But greater is he that's in me
Than he that's in the world
Or at least that's what momma taught me
Momma stood by me
Bought and fought for me
Taught me how to love
Taught me how to stay true
What to say to elders and when told something, what to do
Now ain't that the truth
Me and my mom were going through the ringer
But my mom taught me how to not depend on a man or the N-word
She said have your own money
Make sure you're doing right
She always said be humble don't cuss
Don't fight physically
