I didnt know which way to go

But I kept my faith

I couldn’t tell between friend or foe

But you live and you learn

And its all so simple

I was in the rat race

Like you I was blinded by the love of money but wait

The television was my only vision

To seeing millions

Had to get it was my only mission

My attitude was I gotta get it

I joined a crew with a lotta division

Will never work man who are you kidding

But still I tried cuz I was one of them guys

Who seen the good in the bad

But I was living a lie

And in the end I get burnt

Another tough lesson learned

Surround yourself with winners

Work hard and wait your turn

Instead of try forge it with

Dark forces

Being unequally yoked

Are they your friends or foe

Look I rather broke

If having money and fame gone cost my soul

I learned a whole lotta things

Moving coast to coast

So every night when I pray
