Cause leaving you cold
Kinda left a vacuum
To be filled
By junk and untruths
So here I come again
With the real and
Shame the devil
Pump it up hard
So you don’t have to settle
The world is in pain
Poverty is insane
Middle class gone
It hard to explain
The rich get richer
Inflation chokes the poor
The food is unhealthy
Causing cancer and more
Obesity and drugs drive up the health costs
Mental health struggles leave
People feeling lost
Depressed, obsessed
Maybe suicidal
We need to help each other
Cuz community is vital
Therapy helps
But the cost is so high
That when the bill comes
It makes the patient wanna cry
Youth go to college
It’s the key to success
But student loan debts
Cause a mountain of stress
Finish up
In a $100,000 hole
Takes twenty years
To regain control
Relationships are tough
Everybody’s hooking up
Loyalty is gone
Who the hell can I trust
