Steel and concrete madness

Where my children can find some space

I’ve had some dreams of the country,
A house among the trees,
But what they chose to pay me
Hardly keeps me week to week.
For the millions who must stay here
Between the walls we need relief

Lying in the sunshine
Where buildings once had stood
Makes me feel sometimes
Each of us can do some good.
Each of us has basic human needs.
Let us leave land enough to breathe.
