Let’s talk about these days, well
These days blend together I find it a struggle to separate today from yesterday
To talk about this weight
Well as that boat set of to sea in its path it left much more than a wake,
It’s difficult now to know if I’m asleep or awake when I’m bathing in the concept of a dream, awake or asleep I open my eyes and it dissipates, pull at my tshirt feel the fragility of the seams, mistakes so they seem but nothing was accidental I mean

The world works in ways which sometime seems more than coincidental,
Earth quakes to disassemble, houses can be rebuilt but that doesn’t mean the people are reassembled
They gave me the keys, still haven’t opened the door to break out, looking for pieces of myself my identities become fragmental

And I thought
And I thought that this month I’d be giving flowers at Valentine’s Day, instead, after February I’ll be leaving flowers at my friends grave

In the bleak midwinter

Well I been waiting for the feeling of that first summer day, when all of winters problems leave the scene and melt away
