I am a rolling river
Seasick with awe
Always moving forward
Scared of the lulls 

I am a sunken teardrop
Tied to the floor
It didn't take too much

If life is a car with a passenger seat
It's a world of hitch hikers, everyone you meet 
It's here and there, to and fro
Until we're dropped down the road 

I am a wide eyed swallow
Sucking in air 
Filled is the hollow 
And gone is the scared 

I am entangled branches 
Greeting my ghosts
Accepting the practice 
Of letting go

What's sabotage and what is dreaming   
The line is fine when you're scheming
Zooming in, zooming out
The beauty's in slowing down
