I’ve had a few types of grounded love
Which may not be as good as it sounds
Because I always found it really tough
To get my deepest feelings off the ground

And that’s what I figured love was supposed to be

Until I found a love lighter than this earth

I thought I had learned all about love
But there was so much I didn’t know
Like just how far it can pick you up
And the altitude it can make you go
I’ve never known this kind of high
With you it’s like I’m now part of the sky
I’m soaring into spaces I’ve never been
Like I’m learning love on the fly

I don’t feel restrained and weighted down
Like I got used to feeling before
It’s like my heart is floating around
Like a lovebird leaving the shore

I don’t feel all trapped inside my mind
Don’t have lots of baggage of doubt
Instead it’s like my soul is flying
And feeling the winds of love all around
