Psalm 2

V1: Why do the nations rage why do they plan in vain
They fight against God and defile His Holy name,
The One in heaven laughs as He rebukes their ways
And terrifies those who try to bring Him to shame


Ch: He said “You are my son
Today I've become your father
I will make the nations your inheritance
You will break them down with iron
You will burn them up with fire
All the earth will be your possession”
Why do the nations rage?


V2: So all you kings be wise and all the rulers of the earth
And serve the Lord with fear and show Him His worth
So go and kiss His Son so you won't see his curse
Cause blessed are those whose refuge is His Word
Why do the nations rage?

Br: You are the One who's seated in Zion
Out of the tribe of Judah the lion
All of nations tremble at the sight of Your face

You are the Lamb The Holy Redeemer
You are the light of Heaven our Healer
You set the world in motion with the words You say
Why do the nations rage?

Feeling the weight of the words
Heavy I walk through the world
Hearing the rumors of war nations are torn
Fighting the Lord

I don't know what to say I don't know how to pray
For a place that has gone so wrong Lord please tell me why do the nations rage?
