When I Was Reading A Dusty Old Book
A boy discovers a world so real, that he couldn't read it for all
The pages were filled with adventure, and joy he followed the story,
He entered a world of make-believe, a land of adventure and dreams for true
He was king, he was free, but the real world mother called him to back,
He ruled with a fist, with a heart full of love, but the thought of his mother to find,
He knew he had to return back, to be by her side,so he bid farewell,
He left behind a kingdom in shambles, a world that he'd loved and now he must leave
He returned to reality to find he was just a boy, once more
With a story to tell
