Wha was you that gaed down the glen
When the haw-tree was in fleur?
Wha was you that wudna come ben
Though mirklin was the hour?
Her cloak was gairied wi' the green
Her breist was bricht as snaw
And frae the lithe lowe o' her een

She has been lost for monie a year
