He goes by Mr. Neutral, he's always with me/
He never keeps it a hundred, only keeps it fifty/
For the simple fact, he can switch on either side/
Whatever benefits him at the time, he decides/
The type of role he plays, depending the situation/
To break it down on what i mean, here's an illustration/
He plays cool with everybody like he's showing love/
Just in case somebody makes it big, blowing up/
So he can claim them, saying "that's a friend of mine"/
To make himself look good at any given time/
And on the flipside, he can easily adjust/
Just in case somebody's falling off, from success/
He doesn't claim em now, putting on some hype act/
Go from "they family" to "I don't know them like that"/
There, when i'm up, disappears when i'm down/
I be feeling lonely, that's why i'm keeping him around

He always keeping it loyal, man we connected quickly/
One of the main reasons why we always get along/
He's always siding with me, especially when i'm wrong/
I can be outta pocket, and he would flourish that/
I could be doing dirt. He would encourage that/
He helps me justify my bitterness in how i live/
I say I bang wittem cause he keeps it "positive"/
Aka, he's a yes man, to get it str8/
When I would vent to him, lotta times he instagates/
And I love that because i'm feeling justified/
In my own pettyness, I be mesmorized/
Knowing that i'm suffering, when i'm right beside him/
Buy me drinks knowing that I got a drinking problem/
Gone when i'm up, but appears when i'm down/
I be feeling lonely, that's why i'm keeping him around

Later down the line, this is what im findin' out/
Mr. Enable and Nutrual had a common ground/
I had something they both wanted, I see it now/
One played it safe, one played it cool, to keep me around/
The solid friends I had I neglected/
Just to embrace folks that feed my ego as I go the wrong direction/
As i'm going down this other path/
Not only will these people leave me, down the line, man, i'm gonna crash...
