Woke up in the morning with a text from you
Asking, “Hey, whatcha doing this Sunday at noon?
Wanna brunch, wanna lunch, wanna go to the mall?”
My response, I don’t want to do nothing at all!

So I put my phone down and I close my eyes
And I sleep for two more hours and to my surprise
My neighbor came a knocking with a party invite
It was a really nice gesture but my reply?

I’ll do me.
Maybe I can make it
But we’ll have to wait and see…

Just got home from work sitting down to dinner,
That concert tonight is supposed to be a winner,

But I’d really like to savor this Mushu Pork!

The party of the year and the tickets are free!
Just think of all the facebook friends you’d see!
Pick and outfit, take a shower, you should do your hair,
I’m sure it’s fun, but I really don’t care!
