Upon this third stone from the sun,
the only home I know
where love abounds
in skies and sounds,
and tastes too sweet to tell,
the night sky's got me wondering, of worlds I cannot see
and the whisper of the evening breeze, elsewhere is calling me

I hear, in a song
loved ones gone on
ones I hope to see again someday

So until my final days
in longing I will roam
upon this third stone from the sun the only home I've ever known
