You can see a thousand faces in every avenue
A thousand pairs of eyes all looking down at you
Would I say a word, would I speak, well, I don’t really know
Would I engage, would I ignore, would I beg, would I implore, would I listen to reason?

I would climb a mountain, I would climb ten thousand steps
Just to bathe in the glory of the story not written yet
You may stumble, you may get up, you could stumble, you could just lay down
You could do something meaningful with your life by just hanging around

This came to me in a dream what does that mean I’m pretty sure that dream meant nothing
But that was good enough for Keith though I ain’t saying this is any satisfaction
Should I keep it simple, add a change, toss it, work on a refrain, I think I’ll leave it as it is
But it if soothes the soul and fixes a hole, then it can’t be wrong…..
