What's wrong with our world today,
If truthful words are not enough?
If countries change their names,
To safely hide somebody's bluff!

We swear, we pledge a word,
We started to lie and lost control!
The faith is left to rot,
And this is (only) our fault!

When will this end?

We promise peace, beginning war,
We starve, but get fat more and more!
We swear to love, preparing a knife.
We trick! And this is our life!

How could we lose our minds?
We pray to someone's lie!
It says, that brings us light,
But also steals our lives!

One truth, one moral!
We need it to trust!
We know, this try may be the last!
No signs, no prophets!
It's time to rise up!
We're right! Let's hope and don't give up!

Before we'll fall and while we're here,
Let's stop! Let's share all our fears!
Whom can we trust? Who won't betray?
Who cares? We have no time to pray!
