I've been on this journey for a minute yet to reach my destination
Had to go through some things, called trials and tribulations
That seemed like forever because I've never had the patience
I was taught that if you want it go get it no time for waiting
I experienced oppression as an adolescent
And replaced it wit Brotherly Love Over Our Depression
Even in a lesson all of the stressin create aggression
So I'm using my verbal weapon to apply pressure
It bursts pipes, but also creates diamonds
Depending on your perspective, but y'all can see that I'm shining
I had to get it out of the mud, nobody gave me a chance
Now I stand on top of the mountain as the motherfuckin man
I had a plan but everything just kept falling apart
I'm not where I wanna be but a long way from my start

See a lot of different people go to struggle, but it's not what happens to a person in there life that determined a legacy
