So the first day I drove Monika was-
During the pandemic, if you can believe it
It was miraculously the first day of track and field
I know,
Indoor Track- during the pandemic,
So of course, we were outside and had to wear masks the entire time,-
Which wasn't- you know,

But either ways, I just I just remember this this feeling of bliss,
This freedom that I still can't I-I can't replicate of, of
Leaving my driveway for that first time with
Both of my hands on the wheel
With nobody else in the car beside me
Anyways, you know, as fate would have it, it was pouring this day
And as I take a leadership role
And as I took a leadership role on the team,
I had to wait until, you know,
The the freshman left
Just to ensure everyone was on their merry way
Meaning, I was out there for a long time
And when I finally made my way back to Monika,
You know, I got inside, I-I slipped the keys in and,
You know, she made the sound she always makes,
And I just felt safe
I remember feeling
So safe
