We are outer space to the faraway moons
Our names are too powerful to say

We play hide and seek from wombs to tombs
Seeking a spark and a way

But midnight walks
My feet whine in crocs
And magic threads make the minutes talk

Finding asteroids on Earth
Being asteroids at birth
Meteoric midnight oils
Living on the moonlit soil

Everlasting marble, ancient skin
Uncanny valleys of places you've been
Echoes through the desert
The magic within

So I sit
And I watch
My moondial

We are the fields of asphodel
Grieving flesh in hollow shells
Multitudes of magnitudes of contradicting hues

The colors sound like melodies
The magic threads are pulling me
Mulling this memory in minty tea

I'm an asteroid on earth
We were asteroids at birth
My blood is full of midnight oil
My skin is made of moonlit soil

Everlasting marble ancient skin
Uncanny valleys are songs of your kin
Echoes through the desert
