The fire crackles and sparks awake,
Bright red and orange swirls it makes.

Flames dance and twist as smoke does too,
Just feel that warmth wash over you.

Safe and sound in daddy’s arms,
Knowing you are safe from harm.

And then to mummy just as snug,
A goodnight kiss and a loving hug.

Light starts to fade, but warmth will keep,
As fire dies and baby drifts off to sleep.
