There are some battles where we gotta fight all on our own
Type of fights not for the public and not make it known
Even though we are hurting
A smile is all we wore
Life has no red lights
That's why we are always on the go
Infinite minutes to God's line
To him we call
We pray for better days
And to protect us for the fall
Winter is coming in cold
We handle all our chores
To us we had an issue when had to try and fold
You may have it worse it doesn't make our pain less real
Accumulating scars before the others start to heal
Where's the lifeboat in life's deep water
We navy
But we have to soldier through like the seals

We still racing
We still chasing
Let blessings occupy the spots that vacant
What is coming will be better than what is taken
We lose our battle from the moment that we lose our patience
Every good thing you start I hope always win
Every race you on I'll cheer you on until you reach the fin
Never let the circumstances take your light and dip
Our chances may be low but we can work with slim
We've been fighting silent battles for way too long
All these problems get comfortable making us their home
We're not stopping til find some peace and feed our soul
Thick and thin I promise you that I'm not letting go
Doubts speaking loud and proud we gon prove em wrong
Any small step forward always makes us near the goal
