I have a fine sadness,
That sweet sorrow illuminates me,
Opening memories of a time
When you walked in love with me

So far from our world I flee from the day,
Wounded by the autumn air and you appear
In the depths of my soul where you grow
Burning every night in poetry.

You are in me like a shadow
Returning from a distant land
The world stops every moment
cnd turns again from your imagined hand

Here where the sunsets cross each other
In the astral memory of time gone by,
I shall return to love looking for your arms,
With yesterday's ashes, from the sky of the past
