(Feelings, hate and passion, and in the middle is moderation)
(Gentle climates, spring, warmth, love)
(Moderation is perfection)

Many years ago in an eastern land
There once lived a very wise man
And though he came from a brilliant nation
He made an obvious observation

The whole world works on two extremes
Positive and negative filled his dreams
So to simplify this phenomenon
Called one yin and he called one yang

So yin yang, yin yang
Everything's got a yang and a yin
Stay in the middle and you will see
You'll be in balance and harmony

So to prove our philosophical song
Take this earth that we live on
Where there's hot there's always cold
Sun at the desert and ice at the pole

Where there's dark there's always light
Brightest day and the darkest night
Where there's below there's also high
Deep in the sea or up in the sky

So yin yang, yin yang
Everything's got a yang and a yin
Stay in the middle and you will see

Now let's take life and living things
Examine them and a few of their whims
Where there's a woman there's always a man
A bull and a cow and a sire and madam

Some folks are rich and some are poor
Some at peace and some at war
Where there's good there's always bad
Where there's happy there's always sad
