Caravan screeches to a stop
Wake in wonderland with the roar of hunger
For the truth, just the truth
Dream sparks cast light on the night
Too surreal to be real
On the bridge to folly

With thick skull and thin skin,
Surrenders to his nemesis, umbrella
He floats in a pool of his own tears
Mock turtle blusters through his own fears,
And anyone with eyes that see knows
The Emperor Penguin has no clothes

The Caucus Race and the Long Tale
We’re of two silo’d minds
And in the end and in the end-end-end
What’s the use of pretending to have two minds
When there’s barely enough left to make one

The mock turtle is sad, though he has no sorrow
In the absence of truth, hairy monsters will grow
