I see it in everything
Down to the marks on the wall
It's hard to kick the habit
Of drowning in the absence
Of meaning to it all

Days are consumed by the
Need to prove myself wrong
It's one thing to say it
And another one to live it and move on on

Not that it matters now

You could of called made amends
You lost the love but could of kept a friend
Here you go it's all the same
Not your fault it couldn't have been
Desperately you'll cast the blame
For what
Some need to clear your name
It hurts the most
The stuff you can't change

You couldn't have realized it back then
