In the morning light,
My eyes, held onto heaven,
history arrived to tell words left unspoken,

Enemies have risen with a vision of lust 
They tryna switch and fix the system with a different corrupt
When they won’t listen to love
Then look within you and trust 
You overpower inner doubt and you will never give up

I haven’t always, been the one they look to.
But I have something in me you can’t defend.

Blind to fear, I am not caving in,
See so clear, faced my struggles within,
You walk down,
Self righteous steps to holy ground,
So lost inside, go round and round,
Keep spewing lies cause I am,
Never giving up,

Look and listen here 
allow yourself to feel the fear
Now you can run away from fate 
But you can’t make it disappear 

Tougher times are here 
Allow your clouded mind to clear 
Because the people worth the fighting for 
Will still be sticking near 

I’m never giving up on what I love if it’s true 
If you’re afraid to face the future then there’s something to lose 
You know the pain will stay the same no matter when that it’s due 
I rather battle with the bad than run and make an excuse
