Dusty roads and a setting sun
Leaving behind everything I've done
With a suitcase full of dreams untold

Small towns and fields of open land
Every mile takes me further away

Finding a place where my heart belongs

To find my home in this wide expanse.

Radio's playin' a familiar tune
Stars lighting up the old blue moon
Highway signs leading me astray
But I keep on movin' anyway.

Resting my head in some motel
Dreaming of stories I'll one day tell
Of all the faces and the places I've seen
Hoping one might be the answer to my dream.

Sometimes the road feels long and cold
And the nights are lonesome and bold
But every sunrise gives me hope anew
