O trecho in nomine Domine, num Andante Moderato, modula para Fá Maior, após o qual se retoma ao Si bemol Maior para o Hosanna, que reapresenta o tema inicial do Benedictus acrescido de uma coda, o que afasta esta peça da prática de repetir o mesmo Hosanna do movimento anterior. Essa é a parte mais tranquila e transparente da obra, sem grandes surpresas rítmicas ou harmônicas. O Benedictus tem sua força impulsionadora pelas síncopes nos primeiros compassos, que encontramos no Mezzo e no Contralto. Na parte central, esse último naipe está ritmicamente sempre na contramão de suas vozes irmãs, sugerindo um caminhar um tanto claudicante.

This is an Andantino, suggesting the typical walking pace of the Blessed ... that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Its form is ABA' in quadruple meter, in the key of B flat Major. The passage in nomine Domine, in Andante Moderato, modulates to F major, after which it returns to B flat Major for Hosanna. Hosanna restates the opening theme of the Benedictus with the addition of a coda, which avoids the repetition of the Hosanna of the previous movement. This is the most peaceful and transparent part of the work, without any great rhythmic or harmonic surprises. The Benedictus has its driving force in the syncopation that we find in the first few bars of the mezzo and alto voices. In the central part, the altos are always rhythmically against the flow of their sister voices, suggesting somewhat of a limping gait.
