Been dealing with this pain in my neck
For two years, it’s been back to back, to the doctor’s office I guess
Physical therapy, back at it
With a Thera-Cane like I’m back scratching
This time it serves its purpose
Three weeks, sh** ain’t working
MRI now I’m laying down
Closed in and can’t move around
Ears plugged just to mute the sound
From the thumping machine knocking around
Hands down I can’t swallow much
If I did then the pictures fucked
Toughed it out like I know I could
Hoping everything’s right seen under the hood
Follow up really as occurred
Never I expected to hear this word
Surgery
I heard that sh** it like he echoed it
Two weeks I’ll be going under
Every minute no doubt I wonder
Do it now or risk nerve damage
I can barely move, anything can happen
Turning point in my life now
Little things and bigger damage
I can’t even look but this pressure
On my spine ain’t getting no better
